Chris runs his own business which specialised in business and personal development for small businesses across the UK. He has 240 members in his business development community in Norfolk. He currently holds the position of Helm on both the Sea Boat and the Broads Boat. He is also the Secretary for the service and a committee member.
As well as running his business Chris is a published author and public speaker on all things Business, Leadership and Management. He started his business career after serving in the British Army, completing 6 active service tours, before embarking on a business career that saw him operating on both sides of the Atlantic and the Middle East, before settling back in Norfolk and joining Hemsby Lifeboat.
In his spare time, he also volunteers as a Radio Presenter for Harbour Radio and also volunteers for Manadaly Wellbeing a local Community Interest Company, helping local unemployed find gainful employment or start their own businesses.
After joining the team at Hemsby Lifeboat, it didn’t take long for it to get under my skin, now I can’t imagine not being part of the Lifeboat. For me its the perfect match of volunteering to benefit the community, keeping people safe at sea and on the broads and giving me the adrenalin and excitment I lost when I left the Army.
